The largest connections use the smallest share of what they contract.

Above 100% means the site drew more than its maximum import capacity in that half hour. A site averaging above 100% is either running beyond its agreement or has an out-of-date capacity figure.
Each reading is a data center’s half-hourly import divided by its meter’s maximum import capacity, both in kVA. UK Power Networks identified close to 100 operational sites, with at least 10 per voltage level, and classes each as colocation or enterprise. Sites are anonymised, and Azraq does not attempt to identify them.
Quarterly and segment means are weighted by the number of readings. Typical P95 is the reading-weighted average of monthly P95 values, not a P95 across the quarter. Peak is the single highest half-hourly reading. Aggregates are recalculated from all readings on every daily refresh.
Utilisation is measured against agreed capacity, so a low figure can mean a site is over-contracted or still filling. Coverage is UK Power Networks’ licence areas only: London, the South East and the East of England.
